Nio Inc (NYSE: NIO) today announced that, in collaboration with the Nio Users Trust Foundation, it has donated RMB 2 million ($278,620) to support flood relief efforts in China.
The company will work with the China Charity Federation to assist affected residents in overcoming the challenges and rebuilding their homes, according to an announcement made today.
The statement noted that recent heavy rainfall in the eastern, northern, and northeastern regions of China has caused severe flooding and geological disasters.
Earlier today, Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI) announced a donation of RMB 10 million to the Beijing Charity Association to support relief efforts in areas hit by severe rainfall.
Li Auto has already achieved profitability, while Nio aims to achieve its first profit in the fourth quarter of this year.
