Geely and Chinese AI startup StepFun have unveiled the next-generation intelligent cockpit Agent OS, claiming it is the industry's first AI-powered car cockpit.
Geely Auto (HKG: 0175) and Chinese AI startup StepFun unveiled the next-generation Agent OS intelligent cockpit at the 2025 World AI Conference in Shanghai, claiming it is the industry's first AI-driven car cockpit.
Agent OS is based on StepFun's Step-Audio end-to-end voice large language model, which can provide a more natural, more human, and more emotional new cockpit interaction experience, the AI company said yesterday.
It can accurately capture and understand the current user's emotions and simulate real-life emotions and styles in conversations.
It also has memory capabilities, remembering users' preferences, gender, age, and other personalized information to provide more tailored responses during subsequent interactions.
Geely's sub-brand Geely Galaxy's new hybrid SUV (sport utility vehicle) M9 will be the first to feature Agent OS, marking the industry's first implementation of an end-to-end voice large language model in a mass-produced vehicle, StepFun said.
