Leapmotor B01 secures 10,132 locked-in orders within 72 hours of launch

Leapmotor launched the B01 on July 24 with a starting price of RMB 89,800 ($12,530).

Leapmotor (HKG: 9863) announced that its B01 electric sedan received 10,132 locked-in orders within 72 hours of its launch.

Deliveries of the B01 in China have already begun, the company said.

The B01 comes in six variants, including one with a CLTC range of 430 kilometers, three with a CLTC range of 550 kilometers, and two with a CLTC range of 650 kilometers.

The highest-priced variants with a range of 550 kilometers and 650 kilometers are equipped with LiDAR to provide better smart driving performance.

About 70 percent of B01 customers opted for the 650-km range versions, according to the company.
