The Chinese New Year in 2026 falls on February 17, the first day of the 2026 lunar year.

Tesla opened its first Tesla Diner restaurant in its US home market on July 21, located in Hollywood.

The facility is equipped with 80 V4 Superchargers, two 66-foot LED megascreens, and a 24/7 restaurant with seating for over 250 people.

The Tesla Diner restaurant is open to owners of all brands, and customers driving gasoline-powered cars can also enjoy burgers, fries, and other food there.

However, some of the restaurant's features are exclusive to Tesla owners. For example, owners can place orders from their cars, and the vehicle's central screen can be synchronized with the restaurant's movie screen.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk hinted at the possibility of opening such facilities in more regions around the world.

"If our retro-futuristic diner turns out well, which I think it will, @Tesla will establish these in major cities around the world, as well as at Supercharger sites on long distance routes," Musk wrote on his X platform on July 21.

The business may contribute little to Tesla's revenue, but it will help expand its brand influence and, in turn, boost vehicle sales.

In China, several local electric vehicle (EV) makers, such as Nio (NYSE: NIO) and Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI), are already offering similar services, although mainly in the form of selling beverages in showrooms.

Nio's William Li said that with the improvement of infrastructure and innovation in products and technology, the era of electrification for large-space SUVs has arrived.
