Xiaomi EV officially launched the SU7 electric sedan on March 28, 2024, a competitor to 's (NASDAQ: TSLA) Model 3.

The SU7 comes in three variants -- Standard, Pro, and Max -- with starting prices of RMB 215,900 ($29,840), RMB 245,900, and RMB 299,900, respectively.

The regular SU7 received over 248,000 locked-in orders in 2024, with cumulative deliveries of over 135,000 units, according to data previously announced by Xiaomi EV.

Deliveries of the SU7 continued to exceed 20,000 units last month, marking the fifth consecutive month seeing monthly deliveries exceeding the 20,000 mark, giving a cumulative total of over 180,000 units delivered, Xiaomi EV said on March 1.

As a model that has been on the market for a year, the SU7 continues to see strong demand, a rarity in the Chinese EV industry.
