Deepal saw deliveries surpass 36,000 units in December and more than 240,000 units for the entire 2024.
Deepal, the new energy vehicle (NEV) arm of Changan Automobile, saw its 400,000th unit roll off the assembly line today, 29 months after the brand's inception.
Deepal delivered more than 36,000 units in December and more than 240,000 units for the whole of 2024, its president Dang Chenghao said at an event today.
The brand is targeting global sales of 500,000 units in 2025, of which 400,000 are expected in the domestic market and 100,000 in overseas markets.
Deepal celebrated the occasion by launching a commemorative edition of the SL03 sedan at the event. The model starts at RMB 119,900 ($16,430) and is limited to 4,000 units.
The brand delivered 36,026 vehicles in November, up 122.97 percent year-on-year and up 29.30 percent from October.
In the January-November period, Deepal delivered 207,307 vehicles, up 74.83 percent year-on-year.
