Xpeng saw monthly deliveries exceed the 30,000 mark for the first time last month, with the new models P7+ and Mona M03 contributing greater volumes.
Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV) saw a new delivery record last month, with hot sales of the new models P7+ and Mona M03.
The company delivered 30,895 vehicles in November, the first time it has surpassed the 30,000 mark and the third consecutive month of record highs, according to data it released today.
This is up 54.16 percent from 20,041 in the same period last year and up 29.18 percent from 23,917 in October.
In the January-November period, Xpeng delivered 153,373 vehicles, up 26.25 percent year-on-year.
The Mona M03 continued to deliver more than 10,000 units in November, while the P7+ accumulated over 7,000 deliveries 23 days after its launch, Xpeng said.
Xpeng launched the Mona M03 on August 27, its first hot seller for the second half of the year. Deliveries of the sedan began on August 30.
The Mona M03 is offered in three variants with starting prices of RMB 119,800 ($16,540), RMB 129,800 and RMB 155,800, making it the least expensive of Xpeng's on-sale models.
The Mona M03 saw cumulative deliveries reach 30,000 units last week, Xpeng said on November 28.
The company launched the P7+ on November 7, offering two regular variants with starting prices of RMB 186,800 and RMB 198,800 respectively.
The model also comes in a limited edition with a starting price of RMB 218,800 and only 500 units available. The limited edition is currently sold out.
On November 11, Xpeng said nationwide deliveries of the P7+ began.
The company announced on November 28 that it saw the 10,000th P7+ roll off the production line, 20 days after the electric sedan was launched.
Xpeng is working hard to ramp up production capacity, though those who order both the Mona M03 and the P7+ now will have to wait months for deliveries.
Chinese customers who order the Mona M03 now can get deliveries in 8-12 weeks at the earliest, and for the P7+ it's 8-11 weeks, according to information monitored by CnEVPost.
The company currently has two factories, the P7+ is produced at its plant in Guangzhou and the Mona M03 at its plant in Zhaoqing.
