BYD today announced new energy vehicle (NEV) sales for November, followed by breakdown figures showing the performance of different models and sub-brands.

This represents a 92.47 percent increase year-on-year and a 3.31 percent increase from October, the third consecutive month of record highs.

The Song family models on sale include the Song L EV, Song L DM-i, and Song Pro DM-i in the Dynasty series, and the Song Plus EV and Song Plus DM-i in the Ocean series.

BYD's Dynasty series of Song models sold 63,638 units in November, up 213.23 percent year-on-year and up 0.50 percent from October.

Its Ocean series of Song models sold 55,105 units in November, up 33.18 percent year-on-year and up 6.76 percent from October.

The Qin family of models sold 87,046 units in November, the second highest selling BYD model, which is up 105.10 percent year-on-year and up 0.53 percent from October.

The Qin family models include the Qin L DM-i, Qin Plus DM-i and Qin Plus EV.

The BYD Seal sold 56,570 units in November, making it BYD's third best-selling model, which is up 184.84 percent year-on-year, but down 5.55 percent from October.

The Seal family of models includes the Seal 06 GT, Seal EV, Seal 06 DM-i, and the Seal 07 DM-i.

The BYD Yuan family sold 56,568 units in November, up 33.66 percent year-on-year and up 0.95 percent from October.

The BYD Seagull sold 56,459 units in November, up 26.58 percent year-on-year and up 4.40 percent from October.

The Seagull was launched on April 26, 2023 and is the cheapest BYD model. BYD launched the 2025 BYD Gull on August 1, with unchanged starting price and core specs.

The BYD Han family sold 30,467 units in November, up 49.41 percent year-on-year and up 1.09 percent from October.

The BYD Chaser 05 sold 24,344 units in November, up 309.14 percent year-on-year and up 7.93 percent from October.

The BYD Dolphin sold 21,712 units in November, down 38.40 percent year-on-year and essentially flat from 21,710 in October.

The BYD Tang sold 15,410 units in November, up 44.79 percent year-on-year and up 2.71 percent from October.

The BYD Sealion sold 14,608 units in November, down 24.04 percent from 19,232 in October.

The company launched the Sealion 07 on May 10, the first model of BYD's new EV technology platform, e-Platform 3.0 Evo.

The hybrid Sealion 05 DM-i was launched on September 23, the second model in the Sealion array.

The BYD e2 sold 570 units in November, down 55.81 percent year-on-year but up 42.86 percent from October.

The BYD Frigate 07 sold 451 units in November, down 82.50 percent year-on-year but up 70.19 percent from October.

BYD's NEVs include passenger NEVs and commercial NEVs, with the former including different brands including BYD, Denza, Yangwang and Fang Cheng Bao.

The BYD brand of passenger vehicles, which includes the Dynasty and Ocean series, sold 483,011 units in November, up 68.29 percent year-on-year and 0.45 percent from October.

The Dynasty series sold 253,192 units in November, up 86.01 percent year-on-year and 0.84 percent from October.

The Ocean series sold 229,819 vehicles in November, up 52.30 percent year-on-year and essentially flat from 229,751 in October.

BYD's premium Denza brand delivered 10,002 units in November, down 15.55 percent year-on-year but up 7.23 percent from October.

BYD's personalized sub-brand Fang Cheng Bao delivered 8,521 vehicles in November, up 41.40 percent from 6,026 in October.

Fang Cheng Bao's first model, the Bao 5, was officially launched on November 9, 2023, and deliveries began on November 23 last year.

On November 12, Fang Cheng Bao launched its second model, the Bao 8, the first model under BYD's umbrella to feature 's driver assistance system.

BYD's ultra-luxury sub-brand Yangwang delivered 302 vehicles in November, including 278 U8 off-road SUVs and 24 U9 electric supercars.

Yangwang launched its first model, the U8, on September 20, 2023, with deliveries beginning on November 24 last year.

The Yangwang U9 went on sale on February 25 this year, with deliveries beginning in late August.
