Leapmotor's single-month order book for October exceeded 42,000 vehicles, also a record high, with more than 10,000 new orders for the C10, C11 and C16 models.
Leapmotor (HKG: 9863), the Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) maker backed by Stellantis NV (NYSE: STLA), achieved another record delivery last month, as orders stayed strong.
Leapmotor delivered 38,177 vehicles in October, up 109.74 percent year-on-year and up 13.06 percent from September, according to data released by the company today.
This is the fifth consecutive month of record deliveries for the NEV maker and the third consecutive month of over 30,000 units.
From January through October, Leapmotor delivered 211,038 vehicles, a 97.18 percent increase year-on-year.
Since its inception, Leapmotor has delivered 516,862 vehicles, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
The strong October deliveries were fueled by continued growth in new orders.
The company had a single-month order book of more than 42,000 vehicles in October, a record high, with more than 10,000 new orders for three models -- the C10, C11 and C16, it said.
Leapmotor didn't release specific order numbers, but an image shared by its founder, chairman, and CEO, Zhu Jiangming, in his WeChat status late last night showed that the company had 42,491 new orders in October.
Leapmotor's first model in the B-series, the B10, will make its domestic debut at the Guangzhou auto show in November, the company said today.
It gave the B10 its international debut at the Paris auto show on October 14, and the compact SUV is the first globalized model of its new B platform.
Using Leapmotor's latest Leap 3.5 technology architecture, the B10 focuses on smart NEV offerings for young people around the world, it had said.
The model will target the market with a price tag of RMB 100,000 ($14,050) to RMB 150,000 and will go on global sale next year, according to the company.
Founded in 2015, Leapmotor is one of China's earliest new car-making forces and is expanding overseas in partnership with Stellantis, Europe's second-largest carmaker by sales.
Leapmotor currently sells the T03, C01, C10, C11, and C16 in China, with all but the T03 offered in both battery electric vehicle (BEV) and extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) variants.
