The ET9 is packed with a number of the latest technologies and will be the first to carry Nio's own 5 nm process-based Shenji autonomous driving chip. All models based on the NT 2.0 platform under Nio's main brand currently come standard with four Nvidia Orin chips.

The ET9 will be built on a 925 V ultra-high voltage platform and will be powered by Nio's own 46105 large cylindrical battery cells for better energy performance and faster charging.

It supports 5C fast charging and can get 255 kilometers of range on a five-minute charge at Nio's latest 640 kWh charging post.
