The Voyah Zhiyin is offered in two variants built on the 800 V platform, as well as two variants built on the regular 400 V platform.

It offers only one dual-motor four-wheel drive variant, while the other three are single-motor models.

The single-motor version offers two motor options with maximum power of 215 kW and 230 kW respectively, and can allow the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds.

The Voyah Zhiyin dual-motor version features two motors both with a maximum power of 160 kW and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.

The model is available with a choice of three battery packs with capacities of 77 kWh, 79 kWh, and 109 kWh. Its four variants have a CLTC range of 625 km, 570 km, 650 km, and 901 km, respectively.

The 109-kWh battery pack uses lithium ternary battery cells, while the other three are lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries.

The Voyah Zhiyin can be charged from 20 percent to 80 percent in as little as 10 minutes.

Voyah is a brand announced by Dongfeng Motor at the end of 2020, with the first model, the Voyah Free, officially launched in June 2021 in China.

On May 7, 2022, Voyah's second model, the Dream MPV, was launched, and on April 18, 2023, Voyah's third model, the Zhuiguang sedan, was launched.

Zhiyin is the brand's first global model after it unveiled its strategy to enter overseas markets during the 2024 Beijing auto show, and is expected to help boost Voyah's sales.

In 2024, Voyah will challenge a target of selling 100,000 vehicles for the year, it said at yesterday's launch event.

Voyah delivered 10,001 vehicles in September, bringing January-September deliveries to 52,548, up 91.35 percent year-on-year, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
