CIIC stands for CATL Integrated Intelligent Chassis and is CATL's skateboard chassis. Neta said on August 23 that the Neta S shooting brake CIIC 800 V version will soon enter mass production.

The Neta S shooting brake CIIC 800 V version is offered in three options with pre-sale prices of RMB 189,900, RMB 199,900 and RMB 209,900 respectively.

The starting price is RMB 30,000, or 18.76 percent, higher than the RMB 159,900 for the standard Neta S shooting brake battery electric vehicle (BEV).

Neta launched the Neta S shooting brake on August 25, offering both BEV and extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) variants, with the BEV models all based on the regular 400 V platform.

The Neta S shooting brake CIIC 800 V is expected to utilize more technology from CATL, as CIIC technology allows for decoupling of the upper and lower body and parallel development, thus shortening the development cycle.

The Neta S CIIC version supports faster charging than its conventional BEV counterpart, with up to 5 C charging multiplier.

The model has a range of more than 210 km supplemented by 5 minutes of charging and can be charged from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 12 minutes.

The Neta S CIIC version supports boost charging and fast charging at non-800 V charging piles. The car consumes 11.7 kWh of electricity per 100 km of CLTC range.

The already-launched Neta S shooting brake BEV is offered in four variants -- 510 Air, 510 Standard, 510 Pro, and 640 AWD Max -- with starting prices of RMB 159,900, RMB 169,900, RMB 179,900, and RMB 209,900 yuan.

Its EREV version is available in two variants -- 300 Standard and 300 Pro, with starting prices of RMB 169,900 and RMB 179,900 respectively.

The Neta S shooting brake measures 4,980 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width and 1,480 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,980 mm.

The highest priced BEV variant is the most powerful, sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.

($1 = RMB 7.1256)

The 800 V version of the Neta S shooting brake BEV will be based on CATL's CIIC, the first model in the world to use the skateboard chassis.
