Neta Auto, a brand owned by Chinese electric vehicle (EV) company Hozon Auto, has rolled out the Neta S shooting brake, bringing wagon form options to its flagship sedan.

Neta officially launched the Neta S shooting brake today with a starting price of RMB 159,900 ($22,440) and available in battery electric vehicle (BEV) and extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) options.

The starting price is RMB 5,100, or 3.29 percent, higher than the regular Neta S sedan's RMB 154,800.

The Neta S shooting brake BEV is offered in four variants -- 510 Air, 510 Standard, 510 Pro, and 640 AWD Max -- with starting prices of RMB 159,900, RMB 169,900, RMB 179,900, and RMB 209,900, respectively.

Its EREV version is available in two variants -- 300 Standard and 300 Pro, with starting prices of RMB 169,900 and RMB 179,900 respectively.

The Neta S shooting brake measures 4,980 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width and 1,480 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,980 mm.

The highest priced BEV is the most powerful and can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.

The other BEV variants with a CLTC range of 510 kilometers are powered by 's Shenxing Battery long-life series, which supports a 3C charging multiplier and gives a range of 200 kilometers on a 10-minute charge.

Neta plans to make new Neta S shooting brake BEV variant based on CATL's CIIC (CATL Integrated Intelligent Chassis), which will be the world's first passenger car model to be built on a skateboard chassis, according to the company.

The EREV version of the model comes with a battery pack with a capacity of 43.88 kWh, with a CLTC battery range of up to 300 kilometers and a combined range of up to 1,200 kilometers.

Neta's other models currently on sale include the Neta S, Neta GT sports car, Neta L, Neta Aya SUV, and Neta X SUV.

Neta delivered 11,015 vehicles in July, up 9.72 percent year-on-year and up 7.93 percent from June, according to data it announced on August 1.

In the January-July period, Neta delivered 64,785 vehicles, down 10.59 percent year-on-year.
