This is the second time has surpassed the 50,000 mark in monthly deliveries, while the Li L6 surpassed 20,000 units for the second consecutive month.

Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI) saw record deliveries in July, as sales of its least expensive model, the Li L6, stayed strong.

The Chinese carmaker delivered 51,000 vehicles in July, the second time it has surpassed the 50,000 mark after 50,353 in December last year, according to figures it released today.

That's up 49.41 percent from 34,134 vehicles in the same month last year and up 6.75 percent from 47,774 vehicles in June.

So far this year, Li Auto has delivered 239,981 vehicles, up 38.52 percent, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.

At the end of July, Li Auto's cumulative deliveries since inception stood at 873,345 vehicles.

"Li L6 sustained its robust sales performance with monthly deliveries continually exceeding 20,000, and has become a blockbuster model in the RMB200,000 to RMB300,000 price range," said Li Xiang, Li Auto's founder, chairman and CEO.

Li Auto's current model range includes the L-series extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) models -- Li L6, Li L7, Li L8, Li L9, and the all-electric Li Mega MPV (multi-purpose vehicle).

The Li L6 was launched on April 18, with a starting price of RMB 249,800 ($34,490), making it the cheapest Li Auto model. Deliveries of the model began on April 24.

The Li L6 delivered 23,864 units in June. Today's figures mean that the model's deliveries in July exceeded that mark for the second consecutive month.

Li Auto did not mention monthly deliveries of its other models. In June, the Li Mega delivered 589 vehicles, the Li L7 10,726, the Li L8 5,754 and the Li L9 6,841, according to figures compiled by CnEVPost.
