The company rolled out the Seal 06 DM-i and Qin L DM-i hybrid sedans at that time, the first two models to feature the fifth-generation DM technology, both with a combined range of more than 2,000 kilometers.

The Song L DM-i and the updated Song Plus DM-i will be the first two BYD SUVs to feature DM 5.0 technology and will be part of the Dynasty and Ocean series respectively.

BYD has already unveiled pictures and a video of the Song L DM-i, the hybrid version of the Song L, two weeks ago. The all-electric Song L went on sale on December 15, 2023.
