The latest wait times in China for all three variants of the Model 3 are 3-5 weeks, extended from the previous 2-4 weeks. The Model Y remains unchanged at 1-3 weeks.
Tesla's (NASDAQ: TSLA) Model 3 sedan has seen delivery wait times further extended in China, after seeing similar changes last week.
The latest expected delivery wait times in China for all three variants of the Model 3 are 3-5 weeks, extended from the previous 2-4 weeks, according to CnEVPost's daily monitoring.
The last change in Model 3 delivery wait time was on July 11, when it went from 1-4 weeks to 2-4 weeks.
The Model Y crossover's delivery wait time in China is unchanged today and has been at 1-3 weeks since July 4.
The Model 3 and Model Y are the models that Tesla locally produces at its Shanghai factory. The expected delivery dates for both the Model S and Model X, which are not produced in China, is the fourth quarter, as it was previously.
The Model 3 is currently offered in three variants in China -- an entry-level rear-wheel drive version, a long-range all-wheel drive version, and an all-wheel drive performance version -- with starting prices of RMB 231,900 ($31,900), RMB 271,900, and RMB 335,900, respectively.
The Model Y is also currently available in China in three variants -- an entry-level rear-wheel drive version, a long-range all-wheel drive version, and an all-wheel drive performance version -- with starting prices of RMB 249,900, RMB 290,900, and RMB 354,900, respectively.
Tesla sold 59,261 vehicles in China in June, down 20.15 percent from 74,212 in the same month last year, but up 7.33 percent from 55,215 in May, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
The Model 3 sold 18,151 units in China in June, contributing 30.63 percent of Tesla's monthly sales in the country. That sales were down 20.18 percent year-on-year, but up 19.18 percent from May.
The Model Y sold 41,110 units in China in June, contributing 69.37 percent of Tesla's June sales in China, a decrease of 20.13 percent year-on-year but an increase of 2.81 percent from May.
