This is the first time the side of the Onvo L60 has been seen in its entirety without camouflage, showing that the model looks somewhat similar to 's coupe SUV model, the EC6.

A new spy photo of the L60, the first model from Nio's (NYSE: NIO) sub-brand Onvo, is circulating on social media as the brand gets closer to its official debut.

The image circulating in several WeChat groups shows an undisguised Onvo L60 next to a Nio battery swap station.

This is the first time that the side of the Onvo L60 has been revealed in its entirety without camouflage, showing that the model looks somewhat similar to Nio's coupe SUV model, the EC6.

An undisguised Onvo L60 was seen on the street on April 12, showing details of the model's back.

Both the latest spy shot and the vehicle in last month's spy shot has a vibrant red color.

Nio is expected to officially unveil the Onvo brand later this month, but the launch of the Onvo L60 may not take place until the fourth quarter, according to information previously mentioned by the company's management.

Onvo's models will support battery swap like Nio's models, which will enable the vehicle to get a fully charged battery in about three minutes.

The support for battery swap will also help Onvo to offer a BaaS (battery as a service) model similar to Nio's, which will allow the vehicle to start at a significantly lower price.

Onvo, which is a sub-brand of Nio under the internal codename Alps, is seen as primarily targeting the market with prices in the RMB 200,000 ($27,720) to RMB 300,000 range.

On April 19, a camouflage-wrapped Onvo L60 drove out of a Nio battery swap station, the first time the model has been seen performing a battery swap.

Earlier today, Reuters reported that Nio has reached an agreement with (HKG: 1211, OTCMKTS: BYDDY) to source batteries for Onvo.
