The G9 sold 1,025 units in June, the P5 1,721 units and the G3 series 434 units.

The P7 series sedan remains Xpeng's (NYSE: XPEV) main seller before mass deliveries of the new SUV G6 begin.

Xpeng's flagship P7-series sedan sold 5,196 units in June, up 17.05 percent from 4,439 units in May, according to data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) shared by local auto media outlet Dongchedi.

This is the fifth sequential increase in sales for the P7 series -- which includes the older P7 as well as the newer P7i -- despite a 35.41 percent drop from the same period last year.

The P7 series contributed 60.28 percent of Xpeng's sales of 8,620 units in June, the highest for the year, data monitored by CnEVPost showed.

In the first half of the year, the Xpeng P7 series sold 20,045 units, down 43.39 percent year-on-year.

On March 10, Xpeng made the P7's facelifted P7i officially available in China, with older the P7 model continuing to be available. Deliveries of the P7i began at the end of March.

The Xpeng P5 sold 1,721 units in June, which was up 1 percent from the model's 1,704 units in May, contributing 19.97 percent of Xpeng's deliveries.

Cumulative sales of the P5 so far this year stand at 10,599 units, down 54.58 percent year-on-year.

Xpeng's flagship SUV, the G9, sold 1,025 units in June, up 2 percent from 1,005 units in May. In the January-June period, the G9 sold 7,136 units.

The G9 was launched in September 2022 and deliveries began at the end of October last year. The model's pricing was confusing at its launch and Xpeng quickly adjusted.

The Xpeng G3 series -- currently available with the G3i -- sold 434 units in June and 3,411 so far this year.

The new SUV Xpeng G6, which was only officially launched on June 29, sold 244 units in June.

These G6 vehicles do not appear to have been sold to the general customer, as the company announced yesterday that the first delivery of the model to customers began on July 10.

The monthly sales target for the G6 is at least 10,000 units, Xpeng chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng said in an interview with local media after the June 29 G6 launch.
