Geometry, Geely's electric vehicle brand, made the G6 and M6 officially available yesterday, with a cockpit developed based on Huawei's HarmonyOS as standard. This is the first collaboration between Geely and Huawei.
HarmonyOS is Huawei's mobile operating system, which is designed to seamlessly integrate the phone's apps with the vehicle's screen.
Taking navigation as an example, after users open navigation on a HarmonyOS-equipped phone, they can have the progress of navigation synced to the in-vehicle HarmonyOS system without additional operation when entering a vehicle using the system.
The Geometry G6 sedan measures 4,752 mm in length, 1,804 mm in width and 1,503 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,700 mm.
The car is available in standard-range and long-range versions, with battery capacities of 53 kWh and 70 kWh, and CLTC ranges of 480 km and 620 km, respectively.
The Geometry G6 is available in two options with a range of 480 km and a starting price of RMB 149,800 ($20,700) and RMB 159,800 after subsidies.
The 620km range version is also available in two options, with starting prices of RMB 169,800 and RMB 186,800 after subsidies.
The Geometry M6 SUV measures 4,432 mm in length, 1,833 mm in width and 1,560 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,700 mm.
The vehicle is available in standard-range and long-range versions, with battery capacities of 53 kWh and 70 kWh, and CLTC ranges of 450 km and 580 km, respectively.
The Geometry M6 standard range version is available in two versions, with starting prices of RMB 149,800 and RMB 159,800 respectively after subsidies.
The 580km range version is also available in two options, with starting prices of RMB 169,800 and RMB 186,800 after subsidies.
The Geometry G6 and M6 both come standard with a single motor with 150 kW of maximum power and 310 Nm of maximum torque. They can reach a top speed of 150 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds.
Geometry previously had four models on sale, including Geometry A, Geometry C, Geometry E and EX3, with a price range of RMB 139,800 to 175,800 after subsidies.
Geometry sales in October were 12,570 units, up 116 percent from 5,808 units in the same month last year, Geely data released yesterday showed.
From January to October, Geometry sold 116,822 units, up 215 percent from 37,067 units in the same period last year.
