BYD Group as well as BYD Auto's logos have received updates.
BYD Group announced today that it has upgraded its brand and unveiled a new logo. The group's BYD Auto has also upgraded its logo.
BYD Group's new logo still features the three letters "BYD", but the design is more rounded and closer to the logo previously used by BYD Auto.

BYD Group's new logo, while retaining the passionate red color and the circle, has been changed by adjusting the lines and font details, and changing the original sharp corners of the letters into more mathematical aesthetic rounded corners, it said.
BYD Group's new logo will be used in a number of its companies, including BYD Electronics, and its brands in the automotive business continue to use separate logos.
BYD Auto's logo has also received an update, but it appears to be indistinguishable from the previous version except that it looks slightly slimmer.
BYD said the new logo is in line with current graphic design trends and has a more three-dimensional and recognizable design aesthetic.
BYD sold 93,168 new energy vehicles (NEVs) in January, up 361.7 percent year-on-year and essentially unchanged from 93,945 in December, the third consecutive month of more than 90,000 vehicles.
Late last year, BYD told investors it expected to sell up to 1.2 million NEVs in 2022. Earlier this month, the company appeared to have raised that target by 25 percent.
On February 11, BYD announced its main goals for the year, the first of which is to serve 3 million NEV customers.
BYD didn't directly mention its sales target for this year, but the figures it released early last month show that it has cumulative sales of about 1.51 million new energy passenger vehicles by the end of 2021.
That means the company is aiming for about 1.5 million NEVs sales this year, up 153 percent from the 593,700 units sold in 2021.
