To date, Tesla has opened more than 1,000 Supercharger stations in the Chinese mainland, offering more than 8,000 piles.

Tesla added 22 new Supercharger stations in China in December, including 128 piles, according to data released today by the company.
These new Superchargers are located in 21 cities, including Qingdao, Beijing, Nanjing and Suzhou, with four of them offering only V2 Superchargers, one offering both V2 and V3 Superchargers and 17 offering only V3 Superchargers.
To date, Tesla has opened more than 1,000 Supercharger stations in the Chinese mainland, offering more than 8,000 piles, the company said.
But it's worth noting that these numbers aren't the most recent, as Tesla's 1,000th Supercharger station in the Chinese mainland was put into operation on October 22 of last year.
Tesla also has more than 700 destination charging stations in the Chinese mainland, offering more than 1,800 piles, it said.
Tesla is the electric vehicle company with the most Supercharger stations in China, followed by local carmaker Nio.
Nio added 99 battery swap stations, 89 supercharging stations and 28 destination charging stations in December, according to data monitored by CnEVPost.
As of January 14, Nio had 787 battery swap stations and 626 superchargers offering 3,532 charging piles in China. It also has 628 destination charging stations providing 3,494 charging piles and access to more than 450,000 third-party charging piles.
