More information is coming out about Xpeng Motors' new SUV.
Two new Xpeng mid-size SUVs, one red and one white, were spotted at the Xpeng Motors headquarters in Guangzhou, according to Weibo user "@电动星球小新".
The car will be named G8, however, this is probably not the final official name but a speculation based on G3, according to the user.

Although covered with fabric, the pictures show solid-state LiDARs under the headlights, similar to the Xpeng P5 that will be delivered soon, according to the Weibo user.
Judging from the revealed front, the car's exterior is likely to adopt the same X Robot Face family design language as the P7 and P5, with a running daytime running light strip and split headlights.
The headlights on the two cars look slightly different. This suggests that the car is still in the early testing phase, the Weibo user said.
Another photo of the car went viral on the Chinese Internet in late July.
The car is positioned well above the regular version of the Xpeng P7 and will cost about 300,000 yuan ($46,305) and will probably be released next year, according to local media outlet CNMO.
The car is built on the Xpeng P7's Edward platform, which can cover a wheelbase range of 2.8m-3.1m, and the interior space might be able to reach the level of BMW X5.
The car will be equipped with Xpilot 4.0 autonomous driving system and two LiDARs similar to the P5, but with better performance, and the computing platform may be replaced with Orin.
Xpeng's ultra-high voltage fast charging, intelligent chassis and air suspension system will be equipped on the SUV and include both 2WD and 4WD versions, the report said.
