Tesla on Thursday released the much-anticipated vehicle travel data from a highly watched accident in an attempt to resolve a dispute that has left the company open to criticism.
According to CCTV, the driver was driving the vehicle normally with the brake pedal depressed more than 40 times in the 30 minutes before the accident.
The vehicle had multiple instances of exceeding 100 kilometers per hour and multiple braking stops, the data showed.
Tesla said the vehicle was traveling at 118.5 kilometers per hour when the driver last depressed the brake pedal.

The maximum brake master cylinder pressure was only 45.9 bar for 2.7 seconds after the driver depressed the brake pedal, and then the brake master cylinder pressure reached 92.7 bar after the driver depressed the brake pedal more.
Immediately after the vehicle's forward-collision warning and automatic emergency braking function activated, the maximum brake master cylinder pressure reached 140.7 bar and took effect, reducing the magnitude of the collision.
The system recorded the collision 1.8 seconds after the ABS acted.
The driver depressed the brake pedal and the vehicle speed continued to decrease to 48.5 km/h before the collision occurred.
Tesla said on Weibo that it will cooperate unreservedly with the regulatory authorities to carry out an in-depth investigation and accept social supervision openly and honestly.
On April 19, at the Tesla booth at the Shanghai auto show, a female owner wearing a T-shirt with the words translated as "Brake Failure" stood on top of a car in protest, sparking widespread concern.
Then a Tesla China executive said "there is no way to compromise, this is a process that new products must go through" and stressed that "their own research shows that 90% of customers are willing to choose Tesla again".
This tough statement was immediately criticized by a large number of Chinese Internet users. The official Chinese media Xinhua News Agency published an article questioning "who gave Tesla the edge to be 'uncompromising'".
Late on April 20, Tesla said on Weibo that it apologized for not being able to resolve owners' issues in a timely manner.
Tesla has set up a working group to make every effort to meet the owners' demands in a compliant and legal manner, in order to satisfy the owners, the company said.
