Tesla's new China-made Model 3 deliveries began in Beijing on January 15, according to the Shanghai Securities News.

The new China-made Model 3 is optimized in terms of exterior, interior, and energy efficiency, with a maximum NEDC range of 468 kilometers for the standard range version and 594 kilometers for the performance version.

The Model 3 starts at RMB 249,900 ($38,564) for the standard range version and RMB 339,900 for the performance version.

The Model 3 can be recharged at the V3 Supercharger in 15 minutes for a range of approximately 250 kilometers.

In addition, according to jin10.com, the China-made Model Y has begun the delivery process and owners will be able to pick up their cars starting Monday, with orders for the current deliveries focusing on people who pre-ordered the Model Y very early in 2020.

On January 1, Tesla announced the launch of the China-made Model Y and the new Model 3, allowing Tesla to complete the final piece of the "SEXY" portfolio in China.
