Guangzhou Xpeng Motors Technology Co. has applied for several patents related to autonomous driving, data provider Tianyancha's data showed.

One of the patents relates to an automatic lane change method for vehicles, and the abstract shows that it will be able to predict the movement of a vehicle at the end of a lane change after a vehicle in autonomous driving receives a lane change request.

Another patent, titled "A method and apparatus for vehicle interaction," is for establishing a communication connection with a mobile terminal. Through this technology, the user can use the mobile terminal to operate the application, and then control the vehicle's light effect and sound effects in real-time.
