On December 17, 2020, we announced the CnEVPost website, a separate site where we've split off CnTechPost's EV coverage and where you'll find the latest coverage of China's new energy vehicle industry.
We initially posted content about the Chinese EV industry on CnTechPost, but as that content grew, we were concerned that it might distract us from the focus and turn CnTechPost into, in effect, "CnEVPost".
So we decided to create a CnEVPost dedicated to Chinese electric vehicles and related technology advances.
Like our original intention for CnTechPost, there are a lot of interesting things happening in the Chinese EV industry every day, but they are not covered by the mainstream English language media.
Many readers have an unmet need for these stories, which gives us an opportunity.
We're here to keep track of what's happening in the Chinese EV industry and strive to be the first to publish what we see in English.
Our current focus is on car companies including Nio, Xpeng Motors, Li Auto, Tesla China, BYD, Geely, but also industry developments, and policy changes.
