A owner in China recently said that his Tesla mobile app can see all the information of other vehicles far away in Europe and he can remote control them.

According to Weibo user @袁启聪, the Tesla owner said that when he used the iOS version of the Tesla app, he noticed that his car, which was previously successfully connected to the app, was gone and was replaced by five unfamiliar vehicles, all from Europe.

In the Tesla mobile app, he can view all the information of the vehicles and use the remote control function of the app, including remote start the vehicle, unlock the doors, open the windows and turn on the air conditioner.

After discovering the situation, the owner reported it back to Tesla.

Tesla has since fixed the error message for the owner, who is now able to use the Tesla mobile app normally.

However, Tesla did not give the results of the investigation.

A previous owner from the UK had a similar problem with his vehicle appearing in the Tesla mobile app of a person he didn't know.

A few weeks later, Tesla helped resolve the issue, but no reason or explanation was given.
