Nio sees most insurance registrations for all-electric SUVs in China in June

Nio was the brand with the most insurance registrations for all-electric SUVs in China in June, data released today by the China Automotive Technology Research Center showed. 

The number of insurance policies registered for Nio (NYSE: NIO) SUVs in June totalled 3,720, up 10 percent from the previous month.

The Nio ES8 saw 1,256 insurance registrations in June, an increase of 73% compared to the previous month.

The Nio ES6, with 2,464 units insured in June, was China's best-selling electric SUV for the 10th consecutive month.

The total number of Nio deliveries in the second quarter was 10,229 units, an increase of 168% compared to the previous quarter.
