In April, Model 3, ES6, Lixiang ONE, XpengG3 and Weltmeister EX5 were the top five new energy vehicles sold in China, with sales of 4,312, 2,886, 2,793, 1,234 and 943 vehicles respectively, data from the Automotive Data of China showed.

In April, Tesla Model 3 sales in China fell 64 percent from the previous month, but remained at the top of the list.

January to April. Domestic EV startups' cumulative sales ranking did not change from April's single-month ranking. But the Tesla Model 3 has a clearer lead, with cumulative sales of 21706 units, compared to 6495 for the second-place Nio ES6.
