Nio announced that it has reached strategic cooperation with Intel's autonomous driving technology company Mobileye. In the future, the two parties will build an L4 level autonomous driving model based on Nio's second-generation vehicle platform.

Nio said that the two parties will focus on the passenger car market and intelligent mobility services and will build L4 level autonomous driving intelligent electric vehicles on Nio's second-generation platform.
Mobileye is responsible for the Mobileye EyeQ system chip and related software, and Nio is responsible for the development, integration and mass production of vehicle-level automatic driving systems.
In addition, on the basis of mass-produced auto-driving models in the future, Mobileye will create a special version dedicated to smart mobility services, and Mobileye will purchase this model version in batches.
