The screenshots obtained by IT Home showed that when Chery New Energy Automobile promoted Chery New Energy S61, it stated that Chery New Energy S61 is equipped with the world's leading Harmony OS for vehicles and L2.99 level automatic driving assistance system.
Chery New Energy also said that the S61 also has face recognition and fatigue driving monitoring functions.
However, it may be that Huawei has not officially released it, and Chery New Energy Vehicles has deleted the Weibo soon after posting it.
At the Huawei Developer Conference in August last year, Richard Yu announced the launch of Harmony OS. This is a micro-kernel-based full-scenario distributed OS.
Harmony OS is currently used in watch applications, large screen applications, car applications and PC applications.
Huawei also established a smart car solution BU on May 29 last year to implement its strategy for smart connected cars. Huawei is committed to building an MDC intelligent driving platform, an intelligent cockpit platform and an intelligent electric platform.
On January 15, Lu Xiaofeng, general manager of Huawei's V2X product line, said Huawei does not build cars but will help automakers build good cars through end-cloud collaboration.
According to Lu Xiaofeng, Huawei has the core-end-pipe-cloud synergy advantage and can provide autonomous, controllable and manageable core components and solutions.
