The Zeekr 007 will be available for pre-sale on the first day of the Guangzhou auto show on November 17, where Zeekr will have a booth next to Nio.

Despite its relative youth, the electric vehicle maker has quickly gained traction in its home China market thanks to its strong ties with hometown auto giant Geely.

Zeekr will hold a pre-sale launch event for the Zeekr 007 on November 17, the first day of the Guangzhou auto show, starting at 10:00 am.

Zeekr lost RMB 3.87 billion in the first half of this year, up 25.24 percent year-on-year. Its gross margin in the first half of the year was 10.5 percent, up from 9.7 percent in the same period last year.

The Zeekr 007 will be Zeekr's first sedan and its first model for the mainstream market, as all three of its current models on sale are aimed at niche markets.

In addition to record deliveries, Zeekr also received a record number of firm orders in October, it said.

The Zeekr 001 FR starts at RMB 769,000, lower than Zeekr's previous hint of over RMB 1 million, and the model is limited to 99 units per month.

Zeekr's distribution partners in South China's Greater Bay Area will begin selling left-hand drive Zeekr models in Macau in the coming months, ahead of the launch of the right-hand drive versions.

Zeekr announced yesterday that Formula One racing driver Kimi Raikkonen has become the company's chief performance advisor and will see the launch of the Zeekr 001 FR.

The Zeekr 001 is offering up to about $11,000 in cumulative limited-time purchase benefits as the company seeks to reach its goal of doubling sales this year compared to last year.
