, Geely's electric vehicle brand, delivered a record 10,119 vehicles in October, as its factory capacity continues to grow, according to figures released today.

That's up 22.27 percent from 8,276 units in September and up 4,984.92 percent from 199 units in the month of first deliveries last October.

Zeekr's only model currently on sale is the Zeekr 001, and it is now holding the launch event of its second model, the Zeekr 009 MPV.

Since deliveries began in October last year, the Zeekr 001 has accumulated 55,600 units.

The average order amount for the Zeekr is more than RMB 336,000 ($46,300), the company said. The Zeekr 001 is currently offered in four versions priced at RMB 299,000, 299,000, 349,000 and 386,000.

On September 9, Zeekr announced that it had sold out of available capacity for this year and that new orders would begin delivery in 2023. Zeekr had previously set a delivery target of 70,000 units for 2022.

On October 31, Geely said in an announcement that it had submitted a proposal to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) to spin off Zeekr and list it separately.

The HKEX has confirmed that Zeekr is ready for the proposed spin-off, according to the announcement.

Terms of the spin-off have not yet been determined, including the location of the listing, the size of the offering and the price range, Geely said, adding that it will announce further information in due course.

Zeekr was formally established as a separate company in March 2021, and the Zeekr 001 was unveiled on April 15 last year.
