Nio today opened a new service center in Shanghai's Songjiang district, its 10th in the city and the largest in China to date.

With an overall area of over 12,000 square meters, the service center has up to 70 service bays and 129 standard parking spaces, covering maintenance, metalwork, painting, vehicle diagnostics and car washing.

In addition to services including repairs, the service center also has a showroom and offers test drives and test rides.

Nio today put a new battery swap station into operation in the service center area, bringing the number of facilities in Shanghai to 78, surpassing the 77 in Beijing.

The company also has 89 supercharging stations, 32 destination charging stations and access to 33,800 third-party charging piles in Shanghai.

As of today, Nio has 1,064 battery swap stations in China, 274 of which are located along highways.

The company also has 1,825 charging stations in China, providing 10,570 charging piles and access to more than 550,000 third-party charging piles.

Nio delivered 10,052 vehicles in July, up 26.74 percent from 7,931 in the same month last year and down 22.44 percent from 12,961 in June, according to data released earlier this month.
