As the Covid lockdown in Shanghai was lifted earlier this month, Nio (NYSE: NIO, HKG: 9866, SGX: Nio) began to move forward with its energy replenishment infrastructure buildout in the city as normal.

The company added a battery swap station in Shanghai today, the first this month. It also installed two 120-kW supercharging piles near the site for owners wishing to charge their vehicles.

Recent Nio owners who visit battery swap stations in Shanghai will receive free masks with the words "Long time no see" printed on them, according to an article posted on the Nio app today.

To date, Nio has 74 battery swap stations, 83 supercharging stations, 29 destination charging stations and access to 36,943 third-party charging piles in Shanghai, where it has its global headquarters.
