This is NIO's first new battery swap station in Shanghai since the Covid lockdown was lifted, bringing the total number of the facility to 980.

As the Covid lockdown in Shanghai was lifted earlier this month, NIO (NYSE: NIO, HKG: 9866, SGX: NIO) began to move forward with its energy replenishment infrastructure buildout in the city as normal.
The company added a battery swap station in Shanghai today, the first this month. It also installed two 120-kW supercharging piles near the site for owners wishing to charge their vehicles.
Recent NIO owners who visit battery swap stations in Shanghai will receive free masks with the words "Long time no see" printed on them, according to an article posted on the NIO app today.
To date, NIO has 74 battery swap stations, 83 supercharging stations, 29 destination charging stations and access to 36,943 third-party charging piles in Shanghai, where it has its global headquarters.
In addition to the battery swap station in Shanghai, NIO today added an additional five of these replenishment facilities in other cities, bringing the total to 980, of which 249 are located along highways, according to data monitored by CnEVPost.
The company added five supercharging stations today, bringing the total to 854, offering 4,712 charging piles. It also has 735 destination charging stations in China, offering 4,333 charging piles, and access to more than 510,000 third-party charging piles.
In addition to the new energy replenishment facilities, NIO today added in Beijing a new NIO House, its integrated facility with showroom functions and premium service features for users.
Located in Beijing Shougang Park, an industrial park with a history of over 100 years, the NIO House is its third such facility in Beijing and NIO's 50th in 36 cities worldwide.
To date, NIO has 21 offline stores, including NIO Spaces, and 8 service centers in Beijing.
