Zeekr, Geely's premium electric vehicle (EV) brand, announced today that it has reached 20,000 deliveries of its only model, the Zeekr 001.
Zeekr delivered the 20,000th Zeekr 001 to a female owner in a ceremony at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Auto Show (Auto Shenzhen 2022), which opened today. The show will run through June 5.
Zeekr delivered 2,137 Zeekr 001s in April, bringing its cumulative deliveries to 16,385 since deliveries began last October.
The latest development means that as of today, Zeekr has delivered 3,615 Zeekr 001s in May.
Zeekr took 192 days from the brand's announcement to the delivery of its first vehicle. Its first 10,000 units were delivered in 110 days and the second 10,000 units were delivered in 107 days, according to the company.
To date, the average order amount for the Zeekr 001 is more than RMB 335,000 ($50,015), the company said.
The Zeekr 001 is currently available in three versions, two of which are priced at RMB 299,000 and the other at RMB 386,000. The fastest model can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.8 seconds, and the longest-range version has an NEDC range of 712 kilometers.
While the 20,000th vehicle was delivered, Zeekr's 100th store, a Zeekr Space in Chengdu, also officially opened on May 28, the company said.
As of May 19, Zeekr had two Zeekr Centers, 81 Zeekr Spaces, and 17 Zeekr Delivery Centers in major cities across China.
Zeekr will continue to build offline stores at a rapid pace this year, with an expected size of nearly 300 by the end of the year, it said.
Previously on May 19, Zeekr announced that its 10,000th home charging pile was delivered on May 17 in Nanjing, Jiangsu province in East China.
The company's first home charger was delivered in Shanghai on September 30, 2021, and Zeekr owners have installed the chargers in 292 cities across China to date.
