Tesla added 24 Supercharger stations in the Chinese mainland in January, which includes 151 Superchargers across 21 cities, the company said Thursday.

Of those stations, two are equipped with V2 Superchargers and all the others are equipped with V3 Superchargers, according to Tesla's China charging team.

To date, Tesla has more than 1,100 Supercharger stations open in the Chinese mainland, offering more than 8,300 Superchargers.

Tesla also has more than 700 destination charging stations in the Chinese mainland, offering more than 1,800 charging piles, according to the company.

Tesla's charging network provided more than 2.14 million services to owners during the Chinese New Year holiday from January 31 to February 6, according to data released by the company on February 10.

Tesla owners drove a cumulative total of 240 million kilometers during the holiday, achieving a CO2 reduction of 56,000 tons, equivalent to planting 111,000 hectares of forest for the planet, it said.
