Intelligent driving assistance systems are one of the most important factors in attracting customers to electric vehicles, and Nio has released data on how its customers used the system during the Chinese New Year holiday.

Over the week-long holiday from January 31 to February 6, Nio users drove a total of 7,526,690 kilometers with the Nio Pilot, the company said in a report today.

Nio users drove a total of 57,366,215 kilometers during this period, which means that the percentage of Nio Pilot miles driven was 13 percent.

The longest mileage driven by a single Nio vehicle in a single day with Nio Pilot on was 1,732 kilometers, according to the report.

The total number of hours users drove with Nio Pilot was 88,642, or 5 percent of the total 1.74 million hours driven by Nio vehicles during that period.

The maximum number of hours driven by a single Nio vehicle using Nio Pilot in a single day was 17.2 hours, according to the report.

The longest single-day mileage for a single vehicle using NOP (Navigate on Pilot) with navigation-assisted driving capability was 1,571 kilometers and the longest time spent was 15.4 hours, according to Nio.

In addition to the Nio Pilot usage data, Nio has released more.

Nio's signature battery swap stations provided an average of 22,323 daily services during the holiday season, according to the report. That means each of its 836 facilities provided an average of 26.7 services per day.

The company's 223 battery swap stations along the highway provided more than 37,700 services, meaning an average of 24.2 trips per day per station.

The average daily service provided by battery swap stations along the highway is lower than the average for all stations, probably due to the fact that some stations are used less frequently while others are used more frequently.

The Rugao service area on the G15 Shenyang-Haikou highway provided 674 services during the holiday, while two other service areas provided 563 and 535 services, respectively, according to Nio.

This means that the average number of services provided by battery swap stations in these three service areas was 96.3, 80.4 and 76.4 per day, which is much higher than the average.

Nio's charging stations provided 104,792 services during that holiday season, with 71.4 percent of power being used to service other brands of electric vehicles, according to the report.

A total of 4,281 Nio users joined its private charging post sharing initiative, providing a cumulative 5,168 kWh of power.

There were 7,326 users of Nio's battery flexibility upgrade service, which allowed them to get a 100 kWh pack for their standard range models with 75 kWh batteries.

Nio users interacted with the virtual voice assistant NOMI more than 8 million times, with the "go home" command being sent 69,978 times.
