Nio says its flagship sedan will be in showrooms around the Chinese New Year holiday, but now it looks like some showrooms are about to get it.

Eric Liu, general manager of the company's Shenzhen/Dongguan regional company, said today on the Nio App that the ET7 will be on display at the Nio House in Shenzhen's Ping An Financial Center on November 19, marking the model's first appearance in the Greater Bay Area.

The ET7 on display at that Nio House will be cloud white in appearance, Liu said.

On November 20, the team in charge of the ET7 project will be at that Nio House to communicate with interested users, according to Liu.

He said ET7 will appear in Shenzhen for a limited time, but did not specify the exact duration.

On November 10, William Li, founder, chairman, and CEO of Nio, said in a conference call after the company announced its third-quarter earnings that Nio plans to have ET7 available in showrooms around the Chinese New Year, which comes February 1.

Nio unveiled the flagship sedan at Nio Day 2020 on January 9, and it continues the high-performance character of the company's models.

The ET7 is powered by a 180 kW permanent magnet motor, and a 300 kW induction motor with a maximum power of 480 kW.

It has a peak torque of 850 Nm and accelerates from 0-100 100 km in just 3.9 seconds.

Over the past few months, Nio has completed summer testing of the model, winter testing and performance testing in highland environments in preparation for its delivery in the first quarter of next year.
