Deutsche Bank's Edison Yu's team expects Xpeng to record revenue of RMB 5.63 billion in the third quarter.

Xpeng Motors will report unaudited third-quarter financial results on Tuesday, November 23, before the US stock market opens, the company said today.
Xpeng previously released figures showing it delivered 25,666 vehicles in the third quarter, up 48 percent from the second quarter and 199 percent from the same period last year, with single-quarter deliveries close to all of last year.
In a research note sent to investors late last month, Deutsche Bank's Edison Yu's team said they expect Xpeng to record revenue of RMB 5.63 billion in the third quarter, higher than market expectations of RMB 5.04 billion at the time.
Yu's team expects Xpeng to post a gross margin of 13.7 percent in the third quarter, with a vehicle margin of 13.0 percent.
Xpeng's gross margin in the second quarter was 11.9 percent, up from 11.2 percent in the first quarter. It had a vehicle gross margin of 11.0 percent in the second quarter, up from 10.1 percent in the first quarter.
Yu's team expects Xpeng to report EPS of RMB -1.86 in the third quarter, worse than the then market consensus of RMB -1.17, due to higher SG&A.
The team expects Xpeng's management's guidance for Q4 deliveries to likely be in the 35,000-40,000 range, and is on track to reach its target of 15,000 units delivered in a single month in December.
