On September 13, Nio signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Sinopec Shaanxi and put their first jointly built battery swap station into operation in Yan'an, which is also Nio's 445th.

The station in Xianyang is the second one built by Nio in cooperation with Sinopec Shaanxi, and is located in a local Sinopec gas station.

Nio entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Sinopec on April 15 to build battery swap stations in Sinopec gas stations.

Nio's first second-generation battery swap station was officially opened on the same day at the Sinopec Chaoying gas station in Beijing, the first charging facility built by the two companies and Nio's 201st battery swap station.

Since then, the two companies have worked together to build battery swap stations in Beijing, Shaanxi, Dalian, Yunnan, Guangxi, Hainan and Hebei.

CnEVPost's data tracker shows that Nio has also put four supercharging stations and three destination charging stations into operation today.

To date, Nio has 450 battery swap stations and 304 supercharging stations providing 2,054 superchargers in China. It also has 505 destination charging stations offering 2,825 charging piles and access to over 400,000 third-party charging piles.
