Autolink, an -backed provider of smart cockpit software and hardware, signed a strategic partnership and investment agreement with Bosch, the world's largest automotive parts supplier, on Wednesday.

The two parties established a partnership in 2019. In April this year, they jointly developed a smart cockpit domain controller based on the Qualcomm 8155 chip to achieve mass production.

Under the latest agreement, Autolink and Bosch will cooperate more on smart cockpits to accelerate the development of intelligent and connected cars.

Bosch will continue to further optimize and improve the performance of the underlying software for the smart cockpit, and Autolink will accelerate the enrichment of the upper application ecosystem to enhance the consumer experience, said Chen Yudong, president of Bosch China.

Although the official statement mentioned the signing of an investment agreement between the two, no details or amount were provided.

Autolink, created in August 2014, is a connected car operation service company that focuses on the development and integration of in-vehicle intelligent terminals and connected car service platforms.

In September 2017, Autolink received tens of millions of RMB in Series B financing from investors including Nio Capital, the venture capital arm of Nio.

At the Shanghai auto show in April this year, Autolink unveiled an intelligent cockpit domain controller system based on Qualcomm's SA8155P chip developed in collaboration with Bosch, which will be the first to be mass-produced on the GAC Aion Y.
