put two new battery swap stations into operation in China on Saturday, bringing the total to 350 and completing half of its renewed target for the year.

Nio's 349th battery swap station is located in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, the company's first second-generation battery swap station in the city.

Previously, Nio had only one first-generation battery swap station and one supercharging station in the city.

To date, the company has 12 battery swap stations, 8 supercharging stations, 3 destination charging stations and access to over 14,000 third-party charging posts in the Tianjin region, of which Cangzhou is a part.

Nio's 350th battery swap station is located in Yichang, Hubei Province, which is also the company's first project in the province with electricity distributor State Grid.

Nio currently has 10 battery swap stations, 6 supercharging stations and 6 destination charging stations in Hubei.

To date, Nio has 350 battery swap stations, 234 supercharging stations and 425 destination charging stations in China, and has access to more than 390,000 third-party charging piles.

Nio originally planned to have 500 battery swap stations by the end of this year, but at the first Nio Power Day event on July 9, the company's co-founder and president Qin Lihong announced that the goal would be raised to over 700.

As of July 9, Nio had 301 battery swap stations, 204 supercharging stations and 382 destination charging stations in China.

Qin also said at the time Nio will accelerate the construction of battery swap stations along China's highways this year, with the goal of having twice as many by the end of the year as it had at the beginning of the year.

In addition to raising this year's target significantly, Nio also announced aggressive goals for the next few years at the Nio Power Day event.

By the end of 2025, Nio will have more than 4,000 battery swap stations worldwide, with 1,000 of them in overseas markets.

From 2022 to 2025, Nio will add 600 battery swap stations per year in the Chinese market.
