Chinese AI company SenseTime unveiled its smart car solutions brand SenseAuto at the recent 2021 World Artificial Intelligence Conference.
SenseAuto includes the smart driving solution SenseAuto Pilot, the smart cabin solution SenseAuto Cabin and the Road & Cloud sensing platform SenseAuto Connect, the company said.
SenseAuto Pilot has road vision perception capabilities, LiDAR perception technology and target intent prediction technology.
Its vision perception solution provides effective detection up to 200m, supports automatic emergency braking and lane-keeping assistance, and can also effectively respond to scenarios such as near pedestrians and non-motorized vehicle crossings.
SenseAuto Cabin allows users to unlock the car without a physical key, adjusts the seat and mirrors to the driver’s identity, and provides early warning of driver fatigue, distractions and dangerous behavior.
The solution also senses children and alerts if a child is left alone in the car.
SenseAuto Connect is based on sensing devices such as LiDAR and millimeter-wave radar, and works with a cloud-based control platform to control and analyze decisions.
The company has also released L4 self-driving AR minibuses that stop at specific stops to pick up passengers during 2021 WAIC and deliver them to their destinations along fixed routes.
SenseTime’s smart vehicle solutions are currently available to more than 30 partners covering a total of more than 20 million vehicles, the company said.
