Chinese electric carmaker delivered 6,711 vehicles in May, up 95.3 percent from a year ago but down 5.5 percent from April.

Data released by Nio on Tuesday showed it delivered 1,412 ES8s, 3,017 ES6s and 2,282 EC6s in May.

As of May 31, the company's cumulative deliveries stood at 109,514.

Nio's deliveries were briefly affected by supply chain fluctuations brought about by the chip supply and adjustments in the delivery chain, the company said, adding that its new orders continued to grow.

Under its latest production and delivery plan, the company will accelerate its delivery pace in June, with second-quarter delivery guidance remaining unchanged at 21,000 to 22,000 units, Nio said.
