SAIC-GM-Wuling announced on April 19 that Chinese drone company DJI's smart driving solutions will be used in BAOJUN models, which will start mass production within the year.

DJI Automotive, the subject of the partnership with Wuling, is a brand of DJI that specializes in providing total intelligent driving solutions.

Wuling said it chose DJI because BAOJUN defines intelligent assisted driving systems in terms of functional scenarios rather than capability levels, which is a high fit with DJI.

Wuling said its cooperation with DJI is not simply the procurement of parts, but the promotion of a complete intelligent driving system based on R&D trials and road tests by both parties.

DJI Automotive's official website was launched on April 17 and includes two categories of smart driving solutions and smart driving components.

DJI's smart driving solutions include three major systems, Smart Driving D80/D80+, Smart Driving D130/D130+ and Smart Parking P100/P1000, which are for the last 100 meters and the last 1000 meters of parking scenarios respectively.

The solutions with "+" adds LiDAR, driving behavior recognition warning camera, and 4 fisheye cameras to the ordinary program, which can realize L3 autonomous driving, while the ordinary program's autonomous driving is L2.
