Chinese auto giant Geely sold 5,657 new energy and electrified vehicles (NEVs) in March, up 123 percent from 2,539 units in February.

Geely's sales of all vehicles reached 100,029 units in March, up about 37 percent from a year ago and about 30 percent from February, according to an announcement by the company on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Geely's sedan sales in March were 40,001 units and SUV sales were 58,112 units.

Geely Preface models sold 14,356 units in March, up about 97 percent from February.

The Lynk & Co brand sold 16,390 units in March, an increase of 122 percent year-on-year and approximately 39 percent over February.

Geely exported 10,064 units in March, an increase of 219 percent over the same month last year.

In the first quarter, the company sold 333,576 units, up 62 percent year-over-year.
