US-based electric car company Faraday Future (FF) announced on March 15 the completion of the second season of winter testing for the FF 91.

The testing was conducted by FF and Robert Bosch in Baudette, Minnesota, and Flatrock, Michigan, in preparation for the vehicle going on sale in the first half of 2022.

During the process, the FF 91 underwent several tests in sub-zero Celsius temperatures and on snow and ice on various gradients.

Over the next few months, FF will take the FF 91 to additional test sites for further vehicle development, refinement, and eventual launch readiness.

Separately, recent reports have suggested that Chen Xuefeng, former vice president of Chery Jiebao Land Rover, has been appointed CEO of FF China. However, Sina Tech quoted the company as saying that FF is unable to disclose any information at this time.

FF is an electric car company founded by Jia Yueting, an entrepreneur who in October 2019 filed for bankruptcy in the US after running up billions of dollars in personal debt.

FF expects to sell more than 400,000 units in next five years, says FF 91 orders exceed 14,000
