Chinese electric car company Motors (NYSE: XPEV) will hold a Navigation Guided Pilot (NGP) Beta experience event on January 11, where invited users and media will have the opportunity to experience the Beta version of its high-speed autonomous navigation driving function.

These visitors will have the opportunity to interact with technical experts from Xpeng's Autonomous Driving Center and Internet Center to learn about Xpeng's latest advancements and breakthroughs in the field of navigation assisted driving.

Xpeng NGP high-speed autonomous navigation driving is one of the driving features of XPILOT 3.0. With its support, vehicles can navigate autonomously from point A to point B on the highway covered by high precision maps.

On the eve of the Xpeng Smart Day on October 24, 2020, the company held a small test drive of the engineering version of NGP.

At the upcoming event, the NGP Bata version will be announced for the first time to the public.

For the first time, all test drivers will participate in Xpeng's automated driving assistance safety education and safety test, which will also be open to users in the future, the company said.

The event is also part of Xpeng's "Smart Experience Camp," an experience event that Xpeng has been creating since 2021 to share the latest achievements and advances in autonomous driving and smart networking from time to time.
